CVIU is licensed by the Alabama Department of Post-Secondary Education.
CVIU programs, curriculum, and facility are periodically examined by ABHES, CAAHEP, the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education, and the VA to ensure CVIU adheres to the highest educational standards.
In 2011, CVIU earned the Outstanding Achievement Award by ABHES for having no standards violations. Thus, granted accreditation for 8 years.
